Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. Psalm 96:3
El Montecito Presbyterian Church joins with several organizations in Santa Barbara and around the world to help fulfill Jesus’ Great Commandment to love God and love others and his Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations.

Love Locally
El Montecito responds to the call to “love locally” by embracing Cleveland Elementary School during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. The Outreach Committee provided voice amplifiers for classroom teachers and headsets for students to use with their district-provided iPads. Donations from El Montecito also purchased portable camp chairs students used for learning outdoors.
Our congregation generously contribute $6,390 for the 2021 Easter offering, and those funds have purchased furnishings and equipment that will lay the groundwork for Cleveland’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, Math) or makerspace center. Principal Gabe Sandoval’s vision involves creating an instructional area that encourages youngsters to hone their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
The Outreach Committee continues to pursue creative ways to encourage Cleveland’s students, families and teachers in response to God’s call to help others.
The Cleveland outreach project features a partnership with the M4 churches (El Montecito, All Saints by the Sea Episcopal Church, Montecito Covenant, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church), the Eucalyptus Hill Improvement Association, and the Kiwanis Club of Santa Barbara.
